The second level of the series of educational books with reusable stickers is recommended for children from 2 years old to... There is no final age limit! Because the abilities and skills of each child are different, therefore, taking into account the content of the book, you can interest children of any preschool age in it. For children experiencing developmental difficulties, we recommend starting with level 1.
The tasks-games in the book will introduce the child to basic geometric shapes, develop spatial thinking, encourage the acquisition of basic mathematical skills, compare, sort objects, assign them to categories. It will expand knowledge about the world around them, develop language skills.
By completing the task "How do I feel?" the child will develop emotional intelligence - the ability to recognize and name feelings and emotions. The earlier these skills are acquired, the easier the adaptation in kindergarten will be – the child will be able to verbalize and learn to properly express and control the emotions that arise in complex communication situations.
Play with your child using the activity book: encourage them to tell you what they see on the task sheet, what the objects, food, animals, etc. depicted in the pictures look like. If you have completed tasks such as “Alive or dead?”, “Food or drinks”, you can come up with sorting games using the details with reusable stickers separately: an object or an animal, an aquatic animal or a terrestrial animal, edible or inedible. This will consolidate the concepts and promote the development of the child’s thinking.
Encourage your child to actively explore, stick the details with reusable stickers on the task-game sheets. This will help the child develop fine motor skills of the hands and fingers, and when touching the stickers, they will feel the soft and rough surfaces.
Do not rush to complete all the tasks at once, allocate 1-2 per day. Help the child, if necessary, by providing hints, questions, but do not do the tasks for him. Let the child rejoice in his success and rejoice with him when he manages to complete the tasks.
Before starting, get involved in the joint activity: stick stickers on the tasks and illustrations together. This develops fine motor skills, and in addition, you will get acquainted with the upcoming tasks in advance.
